  • 2 tsp sea salt

  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon

  • Herb Butter Sauce
  • 1/2 cup plant-based butter (such as Earth Balance)

  • 5 sprigs fresh thyme

  • 1 tbsp fresh sage leaves

  • Salt and black pepper to taste

  • Coconut Bacon
  • 1 cup large coconut flakes

  • 1 tbsp tamari or soy sauce

  • 2 tsp liquid smoke

  • 2 tsp pure maple syrup

  • 1 tsp hot sauce (optional)

Directions

  • Preparing Coconut Bacon – Lower the oven temperature to 325°F (160°C). In a bowl, combine coconut flakes with tamari, liquid smoke, maple syrup, and hot sauce if using.
